Husseini Manji, MD
Husseini K. Manji, MD, is Global Therapeutic Head, Neuroscience, Janssen Research & Development. He served as Chief, Laboratory of Molecular Pathophysiology & Experimental Therapeutics, NIH, and Director of the NIH Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program. He received his B.S. and M.D. from the University of British Columbia and completed a fellowship at the NIMH and obtained additional training in cellular and molecular biology. His focus of his research has been investigation of disease- and treatment-induced changes in gene and protein networks that regulate synaptic and neural plasticity.
